  • 12/10/2009 - Echo Ridge, LLC has been awarded a Phase I SBIR contract from the Army under topic AF09-060 "Virtual RF Environment." The objective is to develop a platform for developmental testing of both military C3 and commercial wireless devices in a user-defined, field emulation RF environment through real-time digital signal processing. The platform may also be applied to research-oriented testing of geolocation and direction finding technology, in addition to emerging RF technologies such as advanced MIMO antennas.

  • 9/1/2009 - Echo Ridge, LLC has been awarded a third round of funding to research and develop advanced Cognitive Jamming techniques for use in future generation Electronic Warfare systems. The work will be performed in partnership with the DoD.

  • 3/26/2009 - Echo Ridge, LLC has been awarded a Phase I SBIR contract from the Air Force under topic AF083-099 "Indoor Mapping and Geolocation Using Signals of Opportunity and Cooperative SLAM." The objective is to "Exploit signals of opportunity, simultaneous localization and mapping techniques, and cooperative agents to improve navigation in GPS denied areas."

  • 1/26/2009 - Echo Ridge, LLC has been awarded additional funding to research and develop advanced Cognitive Jamming techniques for use in future generation Electronic Warfare systems. The work will be performed in partnership with the DoD.

  • 12/24/2008 - Echo Ridge, LLC has been awarded a Phase I SBIR contract from the Air Force under topic AF083-160 "Cognitive Radio Technology." The objective is to "Research and develop enabling technologies to build a multi-functional Software Defined Radio based Cognitive Radio Network (SDR based CRN) capability, which will maximize the spectrum efficiency by utilizing both unused and underused spectrum of opportunity. The 'SDR based CRN' will minimize interference to the licensed primary users, and at the same time maintaining network Quality of Service (QOS) goals and end-to-end objectives."
